Anyone who is caught selling alcohol to a person who is under 18 or drunk or disorderly, is liable to be personally prosecuted. Not only can members of staff be prosecuted, but any Personal Licence Holder, or even the Premises Licence Holder, can be prosecuted at the same time – unless they can show evidence of due diligence.
