The qualification applies to any working environment in the public or private sector. Delegates will learn that supervisors and managers have a legal and moral obligation to ensure Health & Safety within the workplace which include obligations to employees, suppliers and members of the public. They will also take responsibility for ensuring the competency of the workforce and for identifying hazards, implementing controls and taking appropriate corrective action where necessary.
By employing an individual with this qualification your business will demonstrate their legal requirement to engage a ‘competent person’ by having staff trained to this level

This course is aimed at supervisors and managers with a direct responsibility for Health & Safety Management
The qualification is intended for candidates already working in the capacity of supervisor or manager and those who are preparing to start work at this level. In order to achieve this qualification, individuals must successfully construct a risk assessment and a safe system of work as well as pass the HABC examination.
