Candidates holding a Scottish Personal Licence (SCPLH), are legally required to take this refresher course (SCPLH/R) every 5 years – in order to ‘top up’ their licensing knowledge.

When you receive your certificate, a copy must be submitted to the Licensing Board – who will then send your licence to you within 3 months of the anniversary of issue. Please note that failure to submit your Personal Licence certificate in time, will result in the licence being revoked – which prevents a new licence being obtained for at least 5 years.
Bookings should be made at least 3 days before the course, to enable the course handbook to be sent out (a mandatory 2 days is required to enable the candidate pre-course study).
