Description
The Award in Underage Sales Prevention (AUSP) course is accredited and endorsed by leading awarding bodies within the hospitality industry, including the Institute of Hospitality and the BIIAB.
The aim of the course is to introduce you to:
- Age-restricted products and associated risks
- Proof of age and requesting photographic I.D.
- The importance of stopping underage sales in your business
- How to refuse a sale
- Penalties and fines
Course Duration: 30 minutes*
* Based on average time taken by candidates.
Assessment: Upon completion of the course, learners will complete an end of learning assessment consisting of 20 questions. 70% of the questions will need to be answered correctly to receive a certificate.

All staff involved in the retailing of age restricted products require training. It is a criminal offence to attempt to sell, buy or attempt to buy age restricted products for underage purchasers.

- When to ask for help
